The monitors I had replaced were just over a year old but were only actually installed for 6 months when I replaced them. I have no idea why it doesn’t work anymore in Windows 7. The stand is reassuringly sturdy, which minimises wobbling when you’re prodding the screen. They just weren’t reliable and were a source of serious concern for a large capital project we undertook building an in-house production system.

This could be a USB driver issue. I think the computer manufacturer is irrelevant.

You can tap the screen with your finger to select, tap twice to double-click and hold for a right-click. In reply to A. Grant Dickeson Replied on August 2, The glossy finish is highly reflective, though, so reflections could be a problem. Thanks for marking this as the answer. Many thanks Paul Tavener.

Tried and tested technology, very high build quality and they haven’t skipped a beat since I installed them Now what to do with the 8 useless T’s sitting in my office!

If there is debris or dust blocking one of these, then the g2250mts appears to stop working. However, there’s no pressure control, so it’s no replacement for a graphics tablet.

Due to my setup, the monitors are running across 5 Metre “active” USB extensions with a circuitry block at the female end.

User’s post on August 10, This came after chasing their repair agents in the UK for some time, then lrolite much frustration – contacting iiyama direct in the Netherlands.

If you need more explanation on what I mean post back – I know its a little sketchy atm.

I still had the same issue with 2 of the new units but otherwise, the replacements are working much better. User Replied on August 18, Now there could be several things that cost the problem again. This is good and I think it may be touching the line of investigation Prllite been running on. On PC’s where I still have it disabled, the touch is only single and very t2250tms – almost jittery.

Long story short – in a spate of bad moves in USBdeview, I tried to force remove all instances of the device from the system. They immediately arranged to have one of the monitors collected, returned and tested by their engineers.

User Replied on September 7, Many thanks Paul Tavener Hi Paul, The monitors I had replaced were just over a year old but were only actually installed for 6 months when I replaced them The strange thing was – I bought them from an online retailer in the UK but I ended up getting support and replacement direct from iiyama in the UK and Netherlands To forward to now – the replacements have been yanked out and packed up.

IIYAMA ProLite T2250MTS LCD doesn’t work anymore in Windows 7.

I completed the wipe and restore of the PC and propite my installs are on our shop floor, I removed and hid as much junk as I could from the system. Check that you have the latest USB drivers for the port the screen is connected to and that the USB touch input device is not set to be powered off to save power.

User’s post on January 12, If you place the screen at 2t250mts length, which is the ideal viewing position, it’s uncomfortable to use for long. As you’d expect, the TMTS supports multitouch gestures. Windows 7’s touch support is great for tablet PCs, or perhaps an all-in-one PC for the kitchen, but we’re not convinced of its usefulness on a t2250mte.
